In the summer, the Cavallino-Treporti seaside area comes alive with village festivals, markets, musical and theatrical performances, concerts and beach parties. To go into detail, every year the municipality prepares brochures that you can request at the reception at any time. Below we will give you some more specific notes regarding the events that enliven the coast every summer.
Palio Remiero delle contrade
In June the “Palio Remiero delle Contrade” awaits you which will take place in the Pordelio canal, for this event food and wine stands, games for children and various attractions with evening concert will be set up in Piazza S.M.Elisabetta, in Cavallino.
Il Redentore
The liberation of Venice from the plague has been celebrated for almost five centuries on the third Saturday in July. This day is celebrated with music, dances and fireworks on the entire Cavallino-Treporti coast.
Ferragosto
The most awaited party of the summer, which takes place on August 15, is the “Blue Dream Summer Party” organized by the pro loco of the municipality. Everyone with their mouths open and with their eyes turned towards the night sky to admire the fantastic fireworks displays that follow one another along the entire coast.
The grape festival
Traditional festival takes place on the first Saturday of September. A parade of allegorical floats dedicated to grapes will parade from the Europa campsite to Piazzetta Gran Bazar, where there will be food stands, musical entertainment and animation.
